STABLES COTTAGE WEDDINGS
Down the road from our Main Resort Property, is our private 130 acre farm that is a great place for your Blue Ridge Mountain Wedding. Situated on the property is the cozy Stables Cottage that is on the second floor of our large modern barn. If you are planning a modest Indoor or Outdoor Wedding and only need a limited number of rooms for your lodging accommodations, the Stables Cottage is a great choice, offering 2 large bedrooms, a fireplace and large bath and comfortably sleeps 9 people. The large doors in the front bedroom open to the spacious covered porch overlooking the creek providing a romantic setting as you relax and listen to the water ripple by as you gaze at the open sky. The Cottage has another great view that overlooks a private pond from the other bedroom.
The downstairs of the barn offers ample accommodations for your horses and a very large area for your Indoor Wedding Events like your Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding Ceremony and Wedding Reception with plenty of room for a DJ setup and dance area. The large yard gently rolls down to the creek, creating a great setting for Outdoor Wedding Events. Our beautiful covered stone picnic shelter overlooking the water, offers an exceptional setting for an outdoor Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding Reception.
There is plenty of things for your overnight guests to do right on the farm, since there is 130 acres offering many miles of trails for your hiking pleasure or you can explore the trails by ATV’s or by horseback. The nearly one mile of creek frontage that meanders through the property, provides plenty of fishing holes for the fishing enthusiasts.
Right nearby is the 4300 sq. ft. Stillhouse Manor that sleeps 18 people and offers an abundance of luxurious amenities for those larger Wedding and lodging accommodation needs. This beautiful house has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a traditional kitchen, a commercial kitchen, 3 fireplaces, a great room with a high end bar and large doors opening to the wrap around deck overlooking the water.
The Stables Cottage, the spacious Stillhouse Manor and the large modern barn can be rented separately or together based on your Wedding and Accommodation needs.
